Technical Manager Architecture Interior Design

A well regarded luxury residential architecture and interior design studio in Dubai is looking for a Technical Manager to take ownership of its technical delivery as the team continues to grow.

This is a key role within the business. You will lead a small technical and CAD team, establish and maintain drawing standards, and ensure that the level of technical detailing consistently matches the quality of design the studio is known for.

You will manage the review and coordination of all technical packages, ensuring information issued to site is accurate, well organised, and fully buildable. The studio delivers complex private residences, so close coordination across joinery, finishes, lighting, MEP interfaces, and specialist packages is critical.

You will work closely with the design team and project leads to translate concepts into well resolved technical documentation, while also supporting the wider team to improve processes, workflows, and overall consistency. During construction stages, you will assist with RFIs, technical clarifications, and shop drawing reviews, ensuring design intent is maintained through delivery.

Revit experience would be highly useful, as you will support the leadership team in managing and improving its implementation across the studio.

Salary
Up to 35,000

This role would suit an experienced Technical Manager or Technical Lead with a strong background in luxury residential architecture and interiors. You are someone who takes pride in technical accuracy, enjoys setting standards, and feels comfortable taking ownership of a studio’s technical output as teams and project complexity grow.

You are confident leading a small technical and CAD team, guiding others, and raising the overall quality and consistency of drawing packages. You enjoy working closely with designers, translating strong concepts into clear, coordinated, and buildable information, and you are proactive in identifying and resolving issues early, long before they reach site.

You are organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable being the go-to person for technical decision making. Revit experience is highly beneficial, particularly if you enjoy helping teams improve how they use it in practice rather than just producing drawings.

Salary:
AED 30,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
