Job description / Role
Primary Objective:
Project management, development and support to JCDecaux business units in the Middle East region.
Development & Support
• Support for regional business development, projects and product development
• Creation of CAPEX and OPEX estimates
• Feasibility studies
• Site plotting (travel within the region may be required from time to time)
• Coordination of product development: design, engineering, local manufacturing and/or assembly
• Creation of technical drawings, illustrations and product descriptions
• On-site support and supervision
• Close cooperation with the JCDecaux Headquarters, in particular with the R&D project department (DGRPO)
• Sharing best practices with the local business units, whether on products, processes, or standards such as Health & Safety policy
Project management
• Responsible from project initiation to project execution
• Development of the project initiation documentation
• Day-to-day project coordination and follow-up in regards to documentation, organization, budget, actual costs, time line, resources, communication and quality for internal as well as external stakeholders
• Managing the project logs and reporting to management on project progress, issues, risks, quality results, change requests and exceptions
Requirements
• An engineering degree in product design, mechanical or architecture
• 3-5 years of experience in the field of project management
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Thorough understanding product development and drafting standards
• CAD skills: Autocad,Solidworks or equivalent
• Digital literate: computer, mobile OS and MS Office
• Holder of a driving license for light vehicles
• Self motivated, hardworking and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Resposible and self-confidence
• Strategic thinker with an eye for detail
• Creative and problem solver
Considered to be a plus
• Prince 2 Foundation certification or equivalent
• IOSH - Managing safely certification
• Experience in Out-Of-Home industry
• Languages: Arabic or French
