What you will do
The Technical Sales Engineer - CEM Systems is a key role directly reporting to the Regional Sales Director. You will be based in the Dubai office and will provide technical support and product information with specific focus on the Tyco CEM Systems (Access Control Solutions) to sales team, channel partners, consultants, distributors and end users. You will also prepare and deliver technical presentations, live product demonstrations for clients in order to enhance their knowledge of our products.
As a member of Tyco Security Products team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives for the Middle East & North Africa region.
How you will do it
As Technical Sales Engineer you will use in-depth technical knowledge of Access Controls Solutions and facilitate sales team, channel partners, consultants, distributors and end users on design and specification. A part of your job is to attend sales exhibitions, trade shows, conduct technical training and seminars for the consultants and distributors in the region to enhance their knowledge of our product portfolio and how it can be utilized to generating new sales leads. You will develop necessary design, technical and marketing tools to support clients on existing and new products. In order to improve forecast accuracy you will maintain record of target opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases.
You're perseverant, determined and reliable in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent technical, estimation, presentation and time management skills.
What we look for
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 3 years of experience of pre-sales or technical support in Access Control Solutions
* Strong technical knowledge and recent experience in technical support to sales team, channel partners, consultants, distributors and end users
* Proficiency in developing new business and delivering sales targets
* Technical acumen with commercial understanding
* Determined, results driven, strong sales drive
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Fluent in English
* Ability to travel - Valid Dubai driving license
