Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Specialist

In this role, you will:

- Conduct TSCM surveys to detect, deter, and neutralize technical penetrations employed by any adversary targeting the unit enterprise. Baseline and detect Signals of Interest for EM/RF, power, and networks.
- Draft reports on analysis and findings from surveys.
- Recommend countermeasures to mitigate technical hazards and vulnerabilities; and log them into an incident tracker.
- Prepare written reports detailing findings and recommendations from TSCM inspections, and coordinate findings with cognizant security representatives and authorities when necessary.
- Ensure adequate countermeasures are established for continually protecting sensitive and proprietary information.
- Formulate scope of work for each TSCM inspection in conjunction with current threat information or other special intelligence information.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging technical threats and capabilities.
- Create and maintain a baseline electromagnetic (EM)/Radio Frequency (RF), power-line and baseline networks for comparative analysis.

Requirements

- Undergraduate degree in security/intelligence studies or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in the security field.
- Related corporate, law enforcement, intelligence background.
- Able to work as an individual, and in a team and/or classroom environment.
- Well-organized and able to handle multiple assignments.
- Able to handle and adapt to constructive feedback.
- A strong written and oral communicator.
- Able to deal with conflict or difficult situations and topics.
- Present a mature, professional demeanor and appearance.
