Job description / Role
A global construction firm based in Dubai is seeking an IT Technical Writer. You will gain the opportunity to work within a mature and rewarding environment with stakeholders across the globe.
As an IT Technical Writer, your key responsibilities will be to:
* Review and revise various technical documents
* Edit and suggest improvements to existing technical documents and user guides
* Produce and deliver formatted and accurate documents
* Deliver professionally produced and compliant proposals within defined time-frames
* Collaborate with the technical team and key stakeholders to prepare plans, policies and designs for each project
* Manage the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders
* Monitor and track all projects to deliver reporting
Requirements
As an IT Technical Writer, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Strong written skills and ability to write in a concise, technical manner
* Excellent editing skills
* Advanced computer skills particularly with Microsoft Word, SharePoint
* Accurate attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* University degree, ideally within the tech field
* Ideally ITIL certified
