Job description / Role

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
• Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities.
• At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
• Cleans, straightens fins of fan coil units, and seals off guest room ducting.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and repairs fan coil motor and accessories.
• Attends immediately to complaints and other emergency calls requiring his services.
• Maintains the hotel’s fan coil units, conducts regular cleaning of drain pan, and clears all clogged FCU drain line.
• Insulates chilled water line.
• Fabricates and repairs ducts.

Requirements

• Installs canvass connection.
• Cleans micro duct.
• Assists in chilled water re-piping.
• Dismantles and installs FCU manhole ceiling.
• Inspects and recommends to superior the necessary actions for better maintenance of the fan coil units.
• Taps and un-taps the motor and thermostat.
• Welds copper tubing.
• Records daily accomplishments in a logbook.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
