In this role you will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Water Park, you are to assist the Water Park Maintenance Shifts that operate within the WP maintenance department. You will manage the, statutory inspection of all Life Support System and associated equipment via the application of a planned preventative maintenance approach with the aim of maximizing the equipment availability and safety in operation.

The role calls for strong leadership skills and an ability to clearly focus on the planning & preparation of the activities administered by the WP Maintenance Team maintenance teams..

Main Duties:

- To work as operational engineer carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- To lead teams of engineering personnel during park operation in order to provide an effective breakdown service that will facilitate excellent ride availability and safety for our guests and staff
- To lead teams of engineering personnel in order to administer the PPM and safety checks in line with company procedures
- To assist the WP Management Team to maximizing ride and equipment availability and safety in operation
- To respond to unplanned maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, LSS and Water Park start up procedures and safety checks
- Ideally a working knowledge of DM / DAC and all other third parties
- To ensure that you complete PPM'S in a timely manner in line with department procedures
- To assist other departments as and when required to support the operation of the park

To cooperate with and support the LEGOLAND Dubai Management to allow the business to fulfill its legal responsibilities through:

- Following reasonable instruction related to health & safety
- Reporting dangerous situations or deficiencies in health & safety arrangements
- To only use work equipment in accordance with training
- To not interfere or misuse anything provided for the purposes for health & safety

Requirements

Are You a Star?
In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

- Qualified to at least C&G level 3, or approved equivalent, in either mechanical or electrical engineering supplemented by at least 3 years' experience of working in ideally a Life Support System environment
- Working knowledge of the DM and DAC requirements
- A full working knowledge of appropriate engineering related statutory requirements e.g. certification and safe use of lifting equipment, C.O.S.H.H., safe use and written schemes of pressure vessels, general responsibilities for the maintenance of a Safe Working Environment under the Health & Safety at Work Act etc
