Job description / Role
Job Brief:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Technology Manager to lead the technical evolution of their pharma platform. The ideal candidate will deeply understand software architecture, data engineering, and AI/ML technologies. This role is pivotal in driving system enhancements, unlocking the value of their data, and positioning their platform at the forefront of the industry.
Job Responsibilities:
• Platform Architecture: Oversee the architecture and design of the pharma platform, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Lead the technical roadmap for platform upgrades and rewrites to enhance functionality and scalability.
• AI/ML Integration: Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge AI and ML technologies to augment platform capabilities. Develop AI-driven solutions to address complex business challenges within the pharma industry.
• Data Engineering: Establish robust data pipelines and infrastructure to collect, process, and store platform data. Ensure data quality and integrity for effective analysis and monetization.
• Data Monetization: Identify opportunities to derive value from platform data through data products, insights, or partnerships. Develop data monetization strategies and execute them.
• Team Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in platform architecture, design, and development.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C++) and data engineering tools (e.g. SQL, Hadoop, Spark).
• In-depth knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and their application in the healthcare or pharma industry.
• Experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• Knowledge of pharma industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with data privacy and security best practices.
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
