TEKLA Modeler

Job description / Role

Our Tier 1 MEP Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of experienced Tekla Modelers to join their team in Dubai at prestigious new projects in the Emirate. Successful candidates will have a proven background as Tekla Modeler on major projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of Tekla Modeler for a Main Contracting company.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with and consult team members to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other input data.
• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using computer-assisted drafting equipment.
• Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
• Utilizes AutoCAD for drafting architectural plans and Tekla for structural detailing and modelling.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Tekla

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil, structural or related
• At least 4 years’ relevant TEKLA modelling / drawing
• Ability to work using modeling software’s
• Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
• Have strong engineering background in civil and structural
• Project Experience in GCC countries
