Temp Professional Services PR, Media and Communications Coordinator - Dubai

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for leading the internal and external communications functions for our client throughout the Middle East.

• Act as a spokesperson for the company, optimizing exposure and executing local external communications strategy
• Manage the relationship with and activities of our PR agency
• Oversee a variety of PR activities in conjunction with local spokespersons and the PR agency including: launch events, press releases, interviews, ad-hoc queries, local content development
• Build and maintain relationships with key editors/journalists
• Push company publications in local press and support on local content development to customize messages where relevant
• Oversee media monitoring and tracking, key competitors, clients/targets within regional press, and distributing relevant information and articles as appropriate
• Consult on the companies share of voice and key messaging in the media vs. competitors
• Assisting Marketing Manager with developing local ME Media Pipeline based on global and local publication calendar and assist with executing outreach
• Work with company spokespersons to prepare for interviews/ press launches and conduct media training where required

Requirements

Requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Arabic is an advantage.
• Education: Bachelor level essential, Masters degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of B2B Marketing experience ideally in communications.
• Previous professional services experience in a law firm, management consultancy, investment or audit firm.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to set and be flexible with competing priorities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with immediate stakeholders
• Tenacious with follow-ups and a high attention to detail
• Able to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline driven and service oriented environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and effectively
• Team player, highly motivated, energetic, resourceful and friendly
• Currently based in the UAE
