Employment: Full Time

A temporary position has arisen within one of the largest diversified global leaders of food service equipment, based in Dubai. The manufacturing organisation have exceptionally high standards of customer care and a large team of customer service and logistics executives. Initially the role will be to cover the busy summer vacation season for approximately 2 months, so only those individuals already on their spouse or family visa need apply.

You will join an experienced logistics and customer service team and report to the Managing Director on a day to day basis. The role will encompass ownership from initial customer query through to a seamless logistics and delivery process. Acting as the main point of contact for the sales distributors for technical support by responding to telephone and email queries, providing quotations, order tracking and customer liaison throughout the process are the key tasks of this busy role. The majority of air freight is from the USA and China, with shipments also incoming from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Therefore, exposure to the required relevant documents for these countries is an essential part of this role. Additionally, the role of Temporary Logistics & Customer Service Executive will encompass full preparation of the delivery schedule, liaising with finance for any invoice overdue payments and disputes and data entry of all SOPs onto the Oracle ERP.

Requirements

It is essential for this role that you have your own sponsorship via spouse or family member and will be remaining in Dubai throughout the next 2- 3 months, with no vacations. We require logistics and customer service candidates with a minimum of 1 years’ experience and the use of Oracle. Those with logistics exposure from the USA, China and Saudi Arabia are particularly desired, alongside an excellent standard English.
