Job description / Role
A professional services, global consultancy is seeking a Senior Accountant for 6 months maternity cover with “Big 4” exposure (PwC, Deloitte, KPMG and Ernst & Young). The organisation covers a diverse range of clients across many industry disciplines and they have a fantastic reputation on an international level. They are a well-known employer of choice and therefore this role is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected, corporate entity in their Dubai office.
The major function of this role is to perform all general accountancy tasks including month end closing, journal entries, accruals, pre-paid schedules and reconciliations. This is therefore a varied role covering all aspects of finance, alongside any ad hoc project accountancy when required. The successful candidate will also be involved in Tax and Audit compliance, including VAT returns for several offices across the region and preparation and documentation gathering for annual Financial Services Audits.
You will also assists in the region's reporting schedules, ensuring that data and financial information is provided in a timely manner and consolidated for the Finance Manager.
Requirements
Our client is specifically seeking those with a financial qualification including ACCA, CIMA or CPA and experience from within the “Big 4” financial institutions; PwC, Deloitte, KPMG or Ernst & Young.
