Tender Specialist – Pharmaceutical Industry (GCC Region)

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tender Specialist to manage and coordinate pharmaceutical tenders across UAE and other GCC markets. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with hands-on experience dealing with government health authorities such as GHC and other GCC tendering bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities across GCC countries.
• Prepare, compile, and submit tender documents in compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders and track progress throughout the process.
• Liaise with internal departments (Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) to gather required documentation and information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GCC procurement policies, regulations, and tendering procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and government authorities in the region.
• Analyze tender outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Priority: Urgent
• Education: BSc or MSc in Pharmacy or a related field; MBA in Marketing is a strong advantage.
• Experience: 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical tendering, specifically within GCC markets.
• Proven experience with GHC (Gulf Health Council) and other GCC health authorities is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of GCC regulatory and tendering frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines.
