Job description / Role

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation of commercial and technical bids as per tender requirements.
• The review of tender documents, the scope of works, feasibility for qualification, financial criteria, preparation of presentations, risk matrix, and present all necessary information to the top management for approval for bidding.
• Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work.
• Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Market research.
• Assessment of technical and commercial risks relating to the bids.
• Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during the bid process
• The above are general duties and responsibilities of the role which will be specified further during the interview process.

Requirements

Requirements: Tendering Manager
• Must have more than 10 years of working experience in the UAE as the main contractor
• Must have experience in multi-million Roads, Bridges and Infrastructure projects
• Minimum Educational qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Must possess strong leadership qualities.
• Must be able to work as part of a team as well as manage a team.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational & project management skills
• Technical understanding of construction
• Must be adept with UAE Laws and Regulations
• Analytical and Problem Solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
