Job description / Role
Teppanyaki Sous Chef up to 10.8k Aed for a 5-Star Hotel in Dubai
• POSITION: Teppanyaki Sous Chef
• SALARY: up to 10,800 AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications, plus annual ticket, and quarterly bonus
• HIRING COMPANY: 5-Star Hotel
• LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Immediately can join
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent/ Full-time
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male/Female, 40 years old and below
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or any related Certificate
• Completed and passed a Benihana Chef Training Program
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie
• Must have teppanyaki and fine dining experience from a 5-star hotel
• Knowledgeable in HACCP standards
• Excellent practice of FIFO method in food handling
• Good communication skills
Requirements
• Responsible for teppanyaki orders
• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using a variety of kitchen equipment (including but not limited to broilers, ovens, grills, food processors, blenders, and fryers
• Performs shift opening and closing duties as assigned by the manager such as cleaning of refrigeration units, gaskets, chef carts and floors
• Prepares foods in accordance with the Company’s portions standards and recipe specifications prior to cooking, including battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating foods
