Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Only candidates with UAE thermal coal, steel or iron ore trading experience and currently living in the UAE will be considered.

Client Profile

Our client is a well-established and fast growing trading organisation and as part of their expansion we are recruiting experienced thermal coal, steel or iron ore traders from the dry bulk and commodity trading industry to join their Dubai office to trade to the Indian and Chinese markets.

The Role

Source, prospect and secure new business opportunities to meet sales targets for steel, iron ore and thermal coal domestic and international trade and negotiate profitable commercial terms, credit limits and reliable sourcing.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience Required

8 – 15 years’ thermal coal, steel or iron ore in Indian or Chinese trading sales with an active portfolio of clients and strong book value and excellent working knowledge of trade finance, dry bulk and commodity trading supply chain.Excellent financial and commercial acumen, effective negotiation and strong supply and demand forecasting and planning skills.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory

Candidate Profile

Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
