Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are assisting our client to form a new initiative based in Ajman where they are seeking a French speaking candidate to join a small team of Trade Desk Advisors. The purpose of the role is to drive trade and enterprise to the region of Ajman and will involve handling queries from companies overseas wishing to invest and develop within the region.

The ideal candidate will assist clients through the complex process of setting up a business, offering advice, business and industry intelligence and assisting with all the relevant documents and governmental processes. You will be fully accountable for the selection of target geographical markets; development, documentation and management of relevant network of relationships. Candidates will possess a strong network in order to facilitate connections with Trade bodies, Commercial attachés, Chamber of Commerce, Export Promotion councils, Consultants, Business Councils, Consulates & Embassies to ensure that the business develops and continues to grow.

Applications are invited from those who are able to travel within and outside of the region as there will be an expectation to attend and perform presentations to prospective clients.

Requirements

Candidates wishing to apply for this role should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or other relevant field, with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a Business Development role. You should be confident, enthusiastic and have a strong desire to excel. Fluency in French (speaking, reading and writing) is also essential and the flexibility to travel frequently.
