Job description / Role
Trade Lane Manager Iraq Freight & Break Bulk
- Responsible for selling Shipping services to Iraq this include Freight Forwarding, Port Terminal services to break bulk, RoRo and other general cargo companies, including project cargo and freight Operator.
- He/ She is responsible for initial business development, subsequent operational monitoring and regular customer follow-up / client maintenance. Moreover, you will be responsible for the establishment of a strategy and a pricing matrix and be measured on cargo secured.
- Thorough understanding of and preferably extensive experience in the general cargo shipping segment is a must.
- Relationship maintenance and development of new customers for Iraqi facilities
- Sales calls, respond to queries, develop thorough project proposals and bids including cost and benefit calculations
Requirements
- Must hold Min 5yrs UAE work experience in catering to Shipping Freight Forwarding Logistics Industry. A background in oil/gas or project cargo an advantage
- Previous knowledge of Iraq market an additional benefit
- Valid UAE D/L a must.
