Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FMCG company in Dubai as a Trade Marketing Executive. The role will play a key part in achieving the company sales target and category growth through developing and implementing strategies within brands guidelines as well as customers’ expectations. Based in the heart of Dubai, this role offers the opportunity to manage a team and will work very closely with the Trade Marketing Manager in the planning and implementation of all in store activity (including promotions and point of sales materials).
It will play a key part in building effective relationships with suppliers, designing creative solutions for POSM and consistently coming up with more efficient solutions for POSM. You will work very closely with the sales team in the implementation of promotional material and be responsible for managing your own team of sales supervisors and promoters within the UAE. You will also have the opportunity to train promotors (on product launches, key promotions) and prepare sampling schedules for promotors every month. You will also work on the promotional plans and execute the plan approved by the Trade Marketing Manager.
Requirements
To be successful, you will have a hold a degree (preferably within marketing or Business) and have a minimum of 2-3 years UAE experience in trade marketing. It is essential that you are a bilingual fluent Arabic and English speaker with strong communication and leadership skills. At this stage our client can only consider Male candidates who hold a valid UAE driving license. FMCG experience is also highly desired as is the ability to deal with complexity. Our client is offering a salary of AED 12,000 (plus benefits) for this role.
