Trader - Soft Commodities

Job description / Role

Develop and manage own P+L at the soft commodities trading desk in Dubai.

Main responsibilities:
- Business development
- Manage and grow the deal pipeline
- Develop key relationships with suppliers and customers
- Structure trades appropriately to manage risk and profitability

Reporting to the Managing Director.

Interacting with Finance, Operations, and the London Office

Duration: Permanent
Desired start date: December 2022
Compensation: heavily weighted to P+L share

Requirements

Strong experience and demonstrated track record in this field

Well versed in the products to be traded:
- Thorough understanding of the candidate's markets
- Have good relationships and network with producers and consumers
- Brings impressive deal pipeline
