Job description / Role
• Performs conventional and moderately-complex engineering design assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
• Coordinates the work between the lead design engineers and CADD team.
• Utilizes traffic analysis and design tools.
• Executes all the traffic design standards.
• Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
• Degree in Traffic, Transportation or Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4 - 5 years of relevant design experience in large traffic or transportation projects in the region.
• Fully conversant with various traffic analysis and design tools and softwares (e.g. Synchro, Sidra, HCS etc.).
• Preferably with relevant traffic design experience in Dubai.
