Job description / Role
Qualified for CUBE modeling
• Key attributes for this role are demonstrated technical expertise, well-developed written and verbal communication and a strong desire to be part of a diverse and motivated team.
• Forecasting and feasibility studies, through to design, operations and asset management
Work on a variety of Transportation related tasks and activities and liaise with approving authorities including DOT and Abu Dhabi Municipality;
• Manage traffic engineering and transportation planning work and assignments;
• Manage and prepare traffic impact and parking studies;
• Manage and prepare transportation master plan studies;
• Prepare signal timing plans using tools such as the Synchro traffic model ;
• Attend client meetings and represent the company on project and work assignments;
• Prepare proposals (method statements / scopes of work / budgets);
• Provide technical advice to our staff and clients including technical presentations and reports;
• Work in a team and collaborative environment with our staff and clients ;
• Review proposals and technical submittal from various contractors and consultants;
Requirements
• Bachelors in Civil or Transportation Engineering. Master’s degree (desirable)
• With 7 years of min. exp. for the same
• Professional Engineer or Charter Engineer status
• Proficiency in Transportation Impact Studies
• Past experience in traffic signal design
• Proficient in transportation modeling and parking studies
• Proficient computer skills, including Cube , Synchro, SIDRA, HCS, VISSIM, VISUM, EMME, Arc GIS, Excel, and Microsoft Word
