Our newest opportunity is for a Transport Team Lead to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This position is responsible for leading the team of Transport Planners, Traffic Engineers and CAD professionals, driving increased organizational performance and achievement of team goals.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Monitoring the technical quality of KEO traffic engineering and transport planning projects to ensure that the projects delivered to clients are of the highest technical quality and engineering practice standard .
- Building technical capability of others and actively transfers technical expertise within the organization.
- Preparing technical and commercial transportation proposals and conducts presentations to clients.
- Analyzing existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies cost-effectiveness and service improvements.
- Preparing, planning and controlling financial budgets and team resources in order to deliver required commercial outcomes.
- Preparing and managing project programmes and project contracts.
- Participating in business development activities.
- Leading and developing strong communication and working relationships with staff, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients which support collaborative work practices.
- Ensuring the effective functioning of large/complex and/or multidisciplinary teams by using appropriate interpersonal styles to promote team cohesion and collaboration.
- Fostering a working environment that promotes a learning culture and supports career planning strategies of team members to meet future development needs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years' work experience of which at least 3 were preferably spent working on Gulf region projects partnered with a Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering or any relevant degree.

You should have a sound understanding of junction modelling software such as Synchro, SIDRA, HCS, ARCADY and Linsig.
