Job description / Role
Executive Responsibility
• Assist senior site managers in coordinating and managing construction projects, ensuring adherence to the company's standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
Pre-Contract Operation
• Support the estimation team in reviewing tender documents, conducting site visits, and preparing project cost estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and contract documentation.
• Conduct research on materials, equipment, and subcontractor availability, ensuring compliance with project requirements and cost-effectiveness.
Site Roles
• Learn and assist in coordinating construction activities on-site, including monitoring progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Support the site team in reviewing and interpreting project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Assist in managing subcontractors, suppliers, and labor resources to ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any site issues or conflicts.
• Have regular meetings with the Project Manager to discuss career performance & development
Procedures
• Learn and adhere to the company's policies, procedures, and guidelines related to construction project management.
• Assist in documenting and maintaining project records, including drawings, specifications, progress reports, and change orders.
• Follow established safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience and Knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in using construction project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and industry practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
• Valid driver's license.
