Training and Competency Assurance Supervisor

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client a leading oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Training and Competency Assurance Supervisor.

Reporting to the Training and Development Manager you will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of a range of training programs and competency assurance initiatives in the areas of operations, maintenance and HSE, the role is "hands on" with significant amounts of time spent in the workplace coaching and mentoring individuals in the area of HSE and Competency Assurance.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be educated to NVQ/SVQ/City and Guilds in a technical or HSE related discipline, NVQ or SVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier qualifications, have over 7 years operations and or maintenance experience in an upstream offshore production environment, hands on knowledge in the preparation, delivery and evaluation of HSE, competency assurance and technical training programs and on the job coaching and mentoring.
