Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading bank in Abu Dhabi is actively searching for a Training & Development Manager to partner with the business.

• Assist the head of centre of excellence and the Line Managers to identify training needs for their areas in order to develop an Annual Training Plan, which is consistent with senior management requirements and organizational strategies.
• Develop a system for conducting a bank-wide Training Needs Analysis, compile the needs identified, prioritize the needs, prepare a detailed report and seek Management approval.
• Design, develop and continually improve training courses, the effectiveness of training systems and processes to match international best practices on an ongoing basis.
• Upgrade quality standards for course design, and catalogue based on prioritized training needs.
• Implement and enhance OJT programs for UAE national trainees, review progress and take corrective actions to assist in trainee development.
• Identify course options and decide on courses including e-learning which effectively address the individual needs of all employees with Individuals Development Plans, culled out of mid-year PDRs
• Conduct and organize training and provide a range of training programs to staff of the Bank to ensure that training plans are adhered to.
• Ensure feedback is received from participants on the effectiveness of each training course or session, and act on the conclusions arising from the feedback so that the quality of training is continually improved.
• Manage special projects assigned by /Head of Division/ HoHR to enhance quality of service provided by the staff to the customers and to improve Bank’s overall effectiveness.

Requirements

• Identify, introduce and develop self-learning methodologies for group staff, create awareness in the group of the various self–learning methods like CBT/videos, books, magazines
• Coordinate with third party Training organizations to meet bank wide training requirements.
• Introduce and ensure ‘Professional Accreditation’ for different job-roles and functions in the bank
• Cater to the training requirements of overseas Operations
• Supervision of Learning Resource Center with the assistance of Support staff for cataloging, storage and retrieval of books, enabling instant access to the resources at the point of need
