Training And Promotional Executive

Job description / Role

- A key distributor within the beauty industry which has been established in the Middle East region for 40+ years, is seeking a Bilingual candidate (with Arabic fluency) to support global products with the training of retail staff and new product launches across the GCC.
- This role will require very regular travel (up to 80% of the time) across the GCC region and therefore the role demands a highly motivated and flexible candidate to accommodate this.

- With a core focus on travel retail stores, you will plan, develop, and deliver both new and refresher training for up to 15 team members at any one time. Preparing all required resources including samples and Gifts with Purchases (GWPs), the training will be interactive and engaging to ensure the sales teams are highly motivated to achieve their targets.
- You will also provide in-depth product knowledge to enable the staff to have complete confidence in answering any customer queries and overcome objections.
- Post training you will encourage open and honest feedback to evaluate and evolve the training to meet market and competitor activity demands and ensure overall global brand standards are maintained.

- Coordinating with retail managers and department heads, you will be a natural relationship development person, who is able to manage a broad range of stakeholders at any one time.
- Another core function of this position will involve the launch of new products, and the Training and Promotional Executive will work in partnership with local sub-contractors to ensure all visuals, required stage designs ad POSM are in line with the brand visual merchandising guidelines.
- Maintaining a list of active visual stock and allocating it to the relevant store as required, you will also provide planograms for each of the 30 brands to further enhance visibility and sales.
- Reporting into the Director of Training and working closely with the Travel Retail Manager (both based in Dubai), together you will ensure that the promotional calendar and relevant budgets remain active and compliant throughout the year.

- The position requires an engaging personality and an energetic story teller in order to motivate others.
- It is an exciting opportunity to work with global brands on a daily basis and travel across the GCC to maintain the highest levels of retail and customer service standards.
- It is expected that you will also be a highly commercially aware of competitor and market activity to ensure promotional activities are on trend and innovative in accordance with the global brand directives.
- Candidates should possess 2-4 years of experience within a sales, B2B or retail environment, with a preference for those within the fashion, luxury, or beauty sectors.
- As previously mentioned, you should be able to travel often and hold a passport which allows ease to do so, and possess fluent or native Arabic language skills alongside excellent communication in English.
