Training Manager

Job description / Role

Summary
In this role you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible to ensure a smooth and efficient, yet personal and attentive operation of the Training function, in line with Hyatt's People Brand. You will analyse the training needs, plan and implement training activities accordingly. Your role is vital in the hotel, where you will actively train and assist the departments in training all employees and maintaining the hotels operational training manuals.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate ideally with a university degree in Hospitality/Tourism management. In addition we expect a minimum of 2 years work experience in a senior management position in Training. You must be an excellent trainer and have superior communication skills. Good organizational administrative and interpersonal skills should be your strength. You must ideally already be in UAE.

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively.
