Job Purpose
To contribute to developing the skills and competencies of all DAC employees through cost-effective design and delivery of learning and development programmes on behalf of Learning & Development to line departments of DAC.
The programmes will include (but not limited to) leadership, career and performance development, safety and security subjects both offline and online. To meet the current and future needs of the organisation the job holder is to manage and ensure that all programmes are consistently aligned with corporate objectives, and manage the design of bespoke effective learning solutions for all levels within the organisation based on the current competency framework.
Requirements
Qualification & Education
Educated to degree level from a leading university in a relevant functional area.
Recognised professional qualifications in learning and development.
Bilingual (English & Arabic)
Experience
A minimum of 8 years experience as a trainer in a blue-chip organisation of which 2 years must have been spent in a supervisory role, preferably in a multi-cultural environment.
Demonstrated expertise/experience as an educator in a leadership and/or management programmes.
Knowledge
Extensive and thorough knowledge of learning and development processes, methodologies and technologies to include training needs analysis and evaluation techniques.
Skilled in designing innovative learning solutions to meet the fundamental principles of adult learning andcompetency development.
Ability to demonstrate a range of facilitation techniques in the learning environment.
Developing and supporting behavioural change programmes.
