Job description / Role
Our client, a leading company in the UAE, is looking for a Transactional Lawyer to join their growing team in Dubai.
This is a varied practice and requires strong general banking skills and experience, with an ability to work closely with commercial teams. The range of work covers everything from reviewing and drafting finance documents, MRPAs and other banking documents, to liaising with local counsel in different jurisdictions and providing bespoke advice on general queries on banking and security matters.
Requirements
In order to apply for this role, the successful candidate must be UK or US qualified, with a minimum of 2 -6 years’ experience within a private practice in the banking and finance department of an international law firm. In addition, you must have experience in handling a wide variety of banking and finance work, be experienced in handling syndicated and bilateral transactions, secured and unsecured lending and real estate & property financings, as well as experience with derivatives and treasury related work and debt issuances. A broad exposure to typical common law and UAE law security is also essential. This role will suit an astute individual, who possesses strong attention to detail, with the ability to drive transactions forward single-handedly with minimal supervision. Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not essential.
