Our client is a global professional service company, they are looking to grow their translation team an have launched a brand new Legal Translator position in their office in Dubai.

Description
* Translate documents from Arabic-English and English-Arabic in line with the companies communication framework
* Quality check the output of external translators and ensure consistency in quality
* Maintain translation capacity log and allocate translation requests to in-house translators or external vendors based on available capacity
* Manage the Middle East Translation pipeline: sets priorities between requested jobs, communicates time lines to Case Teams and other teams, and ensures proper internal billing
* Develop and maintain the Middle East glossary that stores keywords by geography and key client

Job Offer
The successful applicant will be offered a competitive monthly salary. In addition, the applicant will receive medical insurance, annual flight tickets and annual bonus.

Requirements

* Candidate needs to have a Bachelors degree
* Proficient in English and Arabic to the level that would be required for legal and non legal translations
* At least 3 years of legal translation experience with a global law firm or within the legal division of a professional service firm (Financial service, banking or management consulting)
* Knowledge of iManage, Workshare preferable
* Good team player, can work under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
