Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Documenting planned and completed staff travels in a standardized spreadsheet format.
• Making inquiries with agents and travel providers to determine the best possible travel schedules and cost-effective prices.
• Ensuring that proper internal approvals are in place before any travel is booked.
• Identifying efficiencies that could be obtained by altering the Company’s current travel policies and booking practices.
• Answering travel-related queries from colleagues or management.
• Performing analysis on the travel data being captured to determine such things as the average number of staff traveling
per month, average ticket prices, etc.
• Liaising with RA accounting staff to plan weekly/monthly cash requirements.
• Liaising with RA HR who generally purchase travel tickets.
• Maintaining leave forms, passport copies, and e-tickets of each RA staff traveling within Africa or International
• Coordinating with RA HR, Uganda regarding MOL Clearance for staff.
• Liaising with RA staff regarding accommodation and airport pick up as and when required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, who has worked on SABRE and Galileo or travel portals, and have Knowledge of filling/ Business correspondence, travel booking itineraries, and preparing reports in Excel.
