Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly organised individual to work within a lovely environment for our DIFC based client. This company is a division of the world's largest privately owned security company with services including static security, security consulting, risk analysis and reporting, crisis management and business continuity.

A dual role which will spend approximately 50% of the time organising all travel logistics for Dubai based employees and the remainder supporting the Senior VP of Operations. You will liaise with travel agents to issue tickets and organise flights and all travel logistics including changes/cancellations/refunds for employees travelling to high risk countries. With a focus on cost and efficiently you will ideally have knowledge of Sabre Red software and be technically very competent. Equally, you will be able to work with the UK office in this area reporting as necessary on travel movements and trends and continuously identifying areas for improvement and cost savings. As administration support to the VP who is often overseas, you will take minutes of meetings, manage calendar and inbox management, organise and manage travel and assist with ad-hoc administration tasks when required.

Requirements

This role will involve considerable internal and external interaction so a friendly, confident demeanor is essential as is a flexible approach and the ability to negotiate where necessary. You will be a proactive individual who continuously seeks the best and, sometimes ‘out of the box’, solution. Equally, you will have strong administration and IT skills and the ability to support a high level Executive.

The successful incumbent will have excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail with a highly proactive approach able to handle change and unexpected changes. You will be a true multi-tasker with very strong communications skills, the ability to analyse and report and a confident, yet appropriate, approach.

This is a highly logistical role and a really wonderful opportunity for someone who would like to enter a fast moving organisation and experience the variety of splitting their organisational skills and strong administration skills between two areas. Sabre experience and a qualification in tourism would be beneficial although not essential.
