Irwin & Dow are proud to work with our highly prestigious VIP client for the new role of Travel & Hospitality Manager. Working in a professional environment the client is involved in business and charity organizations on a global scale and as such requires the individual to manage the transportation of VIP visitors, goods and corporate gifts to and from Dubai.

As part of the role of Travel & Hospitality Manager you will be responsible for implementing and the negotiation of contracts with corporate travel agencies and hotels to ensure a high quality of service at all times. You will also facilitate the organization of all VIP guests and their travel and transport arrangements to and from the UAE, often receiving guests in person and ensuring you support them during their time here. Coordination, receipt, dispatch and cargo of corporate, personal gifts and personal belongings are also involved in this role ranging from annual food gifts to business associates and friends to furniture purchased overseas.

During the year there are several events held by the VIP and you will be fully involved in all transportation and guest hospitality. There will also be management of a small team of warehouse and administrative staff to ensure goods are ready for transit and assist with the associated paperwork. Attention to detail is paramount in this role as the standards expected are extremely high.

Requirements

Therefore the ideal candidate with possess a working knowledge of the aviation industry and transportation facilities, preferably with experience of working for HNWI and VIPs.

You will pride yourself on having exceptionally high standards in all that you do and leave nothing to chance. At times the role of Travel & Hospitality Manager requires 24/7 availability and as such is best suited to those with minimal commitments. An excellent standard of English and 1 other language is also preferable.
