We are looking for an ambitious & driven individual wanting to gain a solid and full understanding of the Travel Retail business. The right candidate will be progressively coached to systematically understand the core elements of the business with increased responsibility as progression unfolds.
Our client is now a leading distributor of international products. The Travel Retail Division is responsible for the sales and distribution of multiple premium fragrances and cosmetics brands across the Middle East Travel Retail, working with the primary Travel Retail retailers in airports / airlines / border shops / other Travel Retail channels to manage the marketing, supply & distribution of the brand portfolio and providing world class end to end management.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Travel Retail Division Manager, the Travel Retail Area Executive key responsibilities will include, market coverage of UAE Travel Retail clients to maximize the sales potential, ensure optimum presentation and visibility of the brands, ensure sufficient stocks, point of sale and support materials, and provide insightful reports on the business and competitors. Primary contact for the network of Brand Ambassadors across the UAE, ensuring solid and consistent two way communication of targets, stock levels, testers & POSM levels, etc. Stock analysis for client orders to ensure optimum stocks at store level and prevent out of stocks. To understand the operational role of the Supply Chain Executive and provide leave cover as required

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Coverage UAE: shop visits to UAE Travel Retail shops on a regular basis to ensure:
- Correct merchandising and visuals as per the current brand focus
- Sufficient stocks of point of sale material and visible communication of promotional offers
- Identification of new brand and new reference opportunities
- Ensuring premium presentation for the brands at store level
- Ensuring prices are correct and price increases are activated at store level on time and in full

• Quarterly marketing presentations to clients

• Brand Ambassadors:
- Supervision of Brand Ambassadors:
- Assists the Division Manager with recruitment of the BA’s
- Defines qualitative and quantitative objectives on a monthly basis in line with the sales targets. Merchandising objectives, and promotions
- Analysis and follow up of the Weekly Report
- Calculates and prepares the BA commissions

• Market Analysis:
- Studies on the products, the merchandising, and the promotions of competing brands
- Gathers information on the market from the customers and Beauty Consultants
- Creates reports with recommendations

• Promotions for the UAE Travel Retail shops:
- Ensuring promotional podiums are installed as per plan, with supporting photographs
- Ensuring promoters are in place, on time, and correctly attired
- Ensuring stocks, POSM, testers, GWP offers all in place
- Monitoring promoters attendance (in conjunction with the Brand Ambassadors / Team Leads)
- Daily sales targets tracked and fed back to the promoters and management
- Final promotion evaluation

Salary:
AED 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Desired Skills:
• Currently based in Dubai
• Sales experience and analytical skills in the industry
• Market awareness is a must and experience in fragrances & cosmetics is a plus.
• Travel in the Middle East is required (est 30% of the time).
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, communications and sales skills
• Strong in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English (spoken / written / writing). Arabic and French an advantage
• Nationality to allow easy traveling in the Middle East region / visa obtaining.

It is expected that there will be travel at least once per week (within the region) to visit the airport operations – whilst the majority of the travel will be ‘in and out’ on the same day there will also be some overnight stay’s required, including an annual training trip
