Treasury And Payment Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a Treasury & Payment Manager who has a strong background in banking operations, reconciliation, and handling high-volume financial data. The ideal candidate must be a native Mandarin speaker, passionate about the banking sector, and experienced in managing complex payments, cross-border transactions, and multiple bank accounts across the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities:

Payment Handling:
• Manage at least 10 payments daily, with transaction values reaching up to USD 200,000 per transaction.

Reconciliation & Data Management:
• Reconcile and manage up to 5,000 transactions daily.
• Process large bank reports and financial data sets with proficiency.

Currency Trading & FX Knowledge:
• Handle currency exchanges for AED, SAR, and USD transactions with a solid understanding of FX spreads.

Banking Operations:
• Complete bank account forms and navigate corresponding banking procedures.
• Serve as a trusted “maker” for high-frequency and high-value transactions.
• Managed 5-10 bank accounts in the Middle East region with operational expertise.

Client & Banking Relations:
• Exhibit enthusiasm and respect for the banking and financial services industry.
• Interact with clients professionally and efficiently.

Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of handling reconciliations and complex financial data requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance, accounting, or banking-related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in banking operations, reconciliation, or payment management.
• Deep understanding of banking systems and international banking operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Native Mandarin speaker with excellent English communication skills; additional language proficiency is a plus.
