Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, a well-reputed company in UAE, we are seeking a Treasury Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Trade Finance
• Expert knowledge of LC Application preparation (both online & Manual) and follow up with banks on day to day basis for any pending / outstanding issues.
• Good Experience of handling various types of LCs and collection documents.
• Experience in handling LC Documentation, ensuring Compliance with Credit Terms and tackling discrepancies.
• Experience in retiring the documents under LC / collection basis.
• Experience in validating basis of cost for various trade finance operations with banks.
• Working knowledge of Swift messages / Inco Terms and respective operations.
• Good knowledge of TR and other trade finance related facilities.
• Well conversant with various types of bonds/tender and bank guarantees.
• Detailed knowledge of various mandatory / custom LC / Guarantee clauses.
• Working knowledge of bank online portals both cash as well as trade.
• Dealing with bank on daily basis with respect to treasury and trade related activities
• Preparation Import Letter of Credit preparation as per the UCP 600 Guidelines – Knowledge of Inco-terms
• Verification of Export Letter of Credit verification and export documents preparation.
• Verification of various type of import documents – LC based, DP based, DA based etc on daily basis.
• Passing journal entries, verifying the accuracy
• Preparation of Financial Statement and bank reconciliation
• Preparation of Board Resolutions for Accounting Opening, organizing and managing the account opening task.

Requirements

• Very good command over English- written as well communication which is required for preparation bank correspondence and dealing with bank officials on regular basis
• Experience in Trade documentation
• Experience in Accounts and finance
• Commerce Graduate / PG, Candidate with CA / ICWA Inter will have preference.
• 8-10 years total year of experience and 4-5 years of relevant work experiences preferably in the UAE. Banking / Manufacturing and Retail experience will be an advantage
• Working knowledge on LC preparation. Knowledge of UCP 600 guideline and ICC Publication.
• Working experience on Letter Drafting, preparation of board resolution
• Sound accounting concepts and excellent understanding of accounting transactions at all levels.
• Working knowledge of Navison 2009 or any other ERP
• Advanced knowledge of working in financial models in Ms. Excel .
• Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work to meet strict deadlines.
