UAE National - Accountant

Job description / Role

As an Accountant, you will take ownership of UAE compliance and support regional accounting functions across the Middle East.

Client Details

Multinational company specialising in developing software for the engineering sector.

Description

* Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with both US GAAP and local statutory standards
* Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and re-classifications
* Maintain accurate trial balances using SAP/Workday
* Support VAT filings and statutory financial statements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business initiatives
* Assist with internal and external audits

* UAE National with a degree in Accounting
* 0-3 years of accounting experience
* Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
* Familiarity with Workday Finance, SAP, or Blackline is an advantage
* Fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal)
* Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS is a plus
