Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A UAE National is required to join our client based in Dubai. The role of the Events Officer will provide support with event management and planning, budget monitoring and policies and procedures. The successful candidate will manage the full scope of all the company’s events, including logistics for trainers and delegates and review and negotiate supplier contracts.This role will therefore act as the first point of contact for all 3rd parties and supplier queries during the planning and execution of the event. The candidate will also be accountable for communicating all relevant information to the wider team with regards to event management updates via regular meetings, where you will take minutes and drive action deadlines for internal project milestones. Post event will involve a full evaluation of its effectiveness, attendees, supplier performance, budget analysis and report collation.

You will contribute to the effectiveness of the department by implementing and updating business processes within the organisation and event management to ensure both timely execution, management of information and ensuring all internal stakeholders and the senior management team remain updated at all times.


This vacancy is a great opportunity to be fully involved in all event management and shaping the business for the future in terms of workflow and effectiveness management. It is therefore expected that you will be degree educated, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar events and coordination role. Those with excellent communication in both Arabic and English and strong MS Office proficiency skills are required.
