Job description / Role
Our client, a multinational broadcast company has a fantastic job opportunity for a UI Designer to be based in Dubai on a 6 months contract position. The candidate must be available to start immediately.
Requirements
The UI Designer must have the following skills:
• Minimum 2 years of experience with UI design
• 3+ years’ experience in web development and presentation layer design and coding
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Must be able to hand-code XHTML, CSS3 and Javascript
• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
• Experience building responsive websites & web applications
• Working knowledge of object oriented JavaScript
• Familiarity with a front-end MVC framework such as Backbone, Angular etc
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum Development process
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Architecture or related field
