UI/UX Designer

Job description / Role

A well-established ecommerce business is on the lookout for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer to join their Product Team in Dubai. The business is well respected within its sector and is considered as a major player within the region.

The UI/UX Designer, tasked to improve the mobile and web-based products through clever and beautiful design, will also be responsible for:
- Defining the visual look and feel of the UI via interactive prototypes and style guides
- Deconstructing the IP and successfully leveraging work experience in order to present designs that are authentic to the brand and successful to the genre.
- Interacting and collaborating with multiple departments to achieve UI/IX goals and elevate quality.
- Maintaining close relationships with program managers, engineers, user researchers, content strategists, and quality assurance analysts to maintain a strong project and team alignment.
- Growing and contributing to the team culture

Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of strong UI/UX design experience on mobile apps and web-based products within the ecommerce industry
- Experience with HTML, DHTML, XHTML, HTML 5, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap Framework
- Strong hand in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Adobe CS
- Ability to solve design problems and produce attractive results
- Genuine passion on simplification and creating intuitive interfaces
