Coordinator – Abu Dhabi

Currently recruiting for a coordinator to join a leading University based in Abu Dhabi. You will be joining the College of Medicine and Health Sciences – an integral department who are leading the way in transforming the UAE healthcare ecosystem through their dedication and work within education, research and healthcare facilities.
Your new role
As a coordinator within the faculty, you will be responsible for working alongside the program managers and various stakeholders in supporting the day-to-day operations of the College.
You will be responsible for various administrative duties including coordinating and acting as a registrar for all conferences, handling attendance records, maintaining CME records, collating and evaluating CME forms. Having had previous exposure to the medical field, you will understand how to liaise with clinicians and faculty staff and will be responsible for supporting them with various ad-hoc tasks. You will be the main point of support for all office administration including, taking calls, dealing with correspondence, proof reading, producing documentation, reports and resources and filing. You will be accountable for assisting the office in ensuring that all University and accreditation protocols are being followed at all times and will be responsible for logging this where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a bachelor’s degree in order to be considered for this role – a Master’s degree within a healthcare related field would be preferential, but not essential.
The idea candidate will have exposure to a coordination role within the medical sector, either within a medical faculty within a higher education facility or within a healthcare provider. You will have dealt with clinicians and various levels of stakeholders within the business and will have excellent prioritisation skills. You will be able to work well under pressure and under various time constraints and enjoy working within a busy, dynamic environment. You will hold excellent Microsoft Office Skills as well as client relations and data management programs experience. The ideal candidate will be flexible with the ability to work around typical office hours where necessary and have the ability to travel when necessary to like the likes of regional conferences.
