Urban Planner

Job description / Role

We are recruiting for Urban Planner to work for our client in Dubai. The successfully candidate will be responsible in reviewing of the plan perspective and provide best solutions for the new areas as per the planning requirements and market trend.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepares the project design and detailed specifications.
• Creates development/redevelopment planning solutions for the sites as per the market requirements and site suitability.
• Provide all site related details including site/plot configurations, area, land use, plot regulations etc in a best possible presentation format.
• To create, review and comment on the design guidelines/ regulations for the existing and future developments to achieve the best planning solution and best price in the market.
• To maintain the work quality in order to achieve a good working environment.
• Supporting manpower for technical and CAD assistance.
• Involvement in the discussion as a part of the feasibility study for each project with respect to various aspects of planning, market trend and associated cost.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning and Environmental Planning practice or any related degree and associated planning standards.
• Have strong professional knowledge of practice and planning standards.
• Strong experience as designer, coordinator and project manager.
• Experience in research, feasibility study, preparation of design layouts, coordination with other teams, analysis and preparation of design regulations for project development.
• Have strong professional knowledge within the set international standards and policies set by local authorities.
• Experience in computer knowledge in AutoCad, SketchUp 8, Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and/or related design software.
• Fluent in spoken and written skills in English and other foreign languages is an advantage.
