VAT Manager

Job description / Role

Quest Search & Selection is looking for an experienced VAT Manager who will be working with a multinational consumer company based in Dubai, UAE. Your main role is to spearhead the process and documentation for VAT.

As the VAT Manager, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Assist and advise clients on the introduction and implementation of VAT in the GCC and wider Middle East region;
* Identify, document, and recommend client business requirements for VAT compliance and assist with processes and systems;
* Filing of VAT returns on timely basis and following up for payments/refunds;
* Develop training materials for the respective staffs within the department;
* Providing internal tax reports.

Requirements

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Sales Manager - HVAC)

* Degree in Accounting or any other related field;
* Qualified Accountant or Tax Professional with minimum 5 years' experience in Tax/VAT;
* Excellent communication and analytical skills (Fluency in Arabic is a plus);
* Strong analytical skills and able to lead projects.
