Vice President - Cloud Services

DarkMatter is developing a suite of communication applications covering encrypted voice, instant messaging, email and other in-transit data.

The Role

Vice President Cloud Services is responsible for leading and a team of engineers as they deploy, test, release, and maintain products to new clients /infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

- Build an advanced, scalable cloud services team
- Understand Secure Coms products and customer requirements develop DevOps roadmap, strategy and assessment working with the cross-functional teams.
- Automated software release management
- Develop Agile delivery methodology
- Must be a disciplined organizer and ready to work with highly skilled engineering teams in order to identify and resolve potential risks to the schedule and quality of the services provided
- Close collaboration with Development and Product Lifecycle teams
- Excellent Communicator of Vision to internal and external audiences through presentations and technical papers
- Communicate project status, deployment milestones/timelines, schedules, risks, expectations, timelines/milestones, team velocity and other key project metrics to multiple audiences (executive management, project team, clients, key stakeholders, etc.)

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in software engineering
- 5 years of experience in engineering management, primarily on product development
- Experience in building high-performance, highly available, multi-tier cloud services including web servers, application servers, databases and infrastructure
