Vice President - Design
The group maps out where we're going, what that means, and what it looks like.
Design & development translates strategies into experiences, products, plans & services.
JOB PURPOSE
- You will lead and direct design development of infrastructure, product and passenger experience for Dubai Airports.
- To achieve this, you will drive a culture for design that puts the customer at the center of the experience and product design process, with a focus on the emotional engagement of the customer.
- You will need to curate and safeguard the design across DA ensuring the DA brand is protected and that the design considers all stakeholder needs.
- Maintaining the strategic intent of the design function is high on the agenda
- Your experience of setting corporate design guidelines, will provide all design requirements and inputs for a customer centric theme.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION
You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent in architecture engineering / engineering management, with an expertise in customer experience design, product design or infrastructure design. It is expected that you will have been in a senior leadership role for 10 years and above.
Experience & Knowledge
Developing long term corporate plans with high concentration on design management within an aviation to provide a safe, world class, secure and environmentally responsible airport to passengers & customers.
You should also have:
- Application of new technology in an operational and commercial environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of airport operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in working with diverse cultural groups.
