Vice President Finance - Processing BU

Job description / Role

This position will be solely responsible for the Processing vertical of the Finance department and complete Processing P&L.

The position will act as a single point of contact for the Processing Business Unit head and the Group CFO for all processing related finance activities across the group, with great focus on processes managed out of UAE. This would include:-

- Cards and ATM business out of UAE
- Bank processing out of Jordan
- Cards, ATM and acquiring processing for Egypt & overall Africa
- Retail processing business for South Africa

The position will have a team of 4 direct reports based out of Dubai and indirectly access to legal entity CFOs and their finance teams for all Processing BU related information needs and analysis.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting or ACCA or equivalent
- Qualified CPA or MBA required
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in a large preferably multi-national set-up

Technical Skills:
- Strong problem solving skills with ability to multi-task in unstructured situations
- Good experience of recommending decisions to senior leadership based on thorough facts based analysis
- Working knowledge of internal controls
- Conversant with integrated accounting applications particularly Oracle
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications - Excel, Word, Access

Preferred candidates:
- Finance leads from payment companies like FDI, FIS,FSS will be ideal for this role
- Business Finance Heads for Retails
- Business finance heads for IT / Software companies
- Broad Industry Based Business Finance Experience
