Vice President - Operation and Maintenance (Water Transmission)

Job description / Role

The Vice President – O&M (Water) will lead the strategic and operational oversight of water transmission assets, ensuring reliability, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization.

This role requires full accountability for:
• Water transmission networks (pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs)
• Maintenance strategy (preventive, predictive, corrective)
• Operational KPIs and service continuity
• Budget oversight (CAPEX & OPEX)
• Infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects
• Team leadership across multidisciplinary O&M functions

To be considered for this opportunity, you need to meet the following criteria:

To be considered, candidates must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory)
• Must have been in a Head or Director or VP level for at least 2 years
• Extensive experience in water transmission systems
• Proven leadership in utility-scale water operations & maintenance
• Strong exposure to asset lifecycle management and infrastructure reliability
• Experience managing large O&M teams and contractors
• Comprehensive knowledge of water-sector regulations and safety standards

Senior executive-level experience within water utilities or related infrastructure environments will be essential.
