Leap29 are currently working with a Global Investor in the UAE who are seeking to identify a Vice President, Responsible Investment.
Our client is sizeable investor who are active in 15 sectors and over 30 countries around the world, with assets and investments across a multitude of sectors.
The role of the Vice President is to support the development and implementation of the Responsible Investment policy and framework. To enable the assessment and management of the risk and opportunities that ESG presents to my client, its potential new investments, and portfolio companies. As VP, you will be the ESG subject matter expert supporting investment teams, participating in internal sustainability-related initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the RI policy.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in PE, Investment Banking or Consulting.
- Experience of ESG strategy development and execution at corporate and portfolio levels
- Experience of ESG due diligence and their integration with valuation and decision-making related to new investments
- Experience across multiple asset classes and sectors
- Experience in mature and emerging ESG markets
