Job summary:

Our client is seeking a results-driven and technically adept VoIP engineer with over 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise-grade VoIP solutions. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in configuring SIP trunks, deploying and managing Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and maintaining complex IP PBX systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and optimize VoIP solutions for enterprise environments
  • Configure and manage SIP trunks with major service providers
  • Deploy and manage Session Border Controllers (SBCs) for secure VoIP communications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex IP PBX systems across various platforms, including:
    • Grandstream UCM
    • Yeastar S-Series
    • 3CX v20+
    • Asterisk FreePBX
  • Troubleshoot call routing issues and implement dial plans
  • Ensure network QoS for VoIP traffic and integrate voice solutions with legacy systems and modern unified communication environments

Required skills:

  • SIP trunking (registration, authentication, NAT traversal)
  • Session Border Controller (SBC) configuration & security
  • IP PBX platforms (configuration and management)
  • Call routing & dial plan logic
  • VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, T.38)
  • QoS and VoIP traffic shaping
  • Number normalization and E.164 formatting
  • Integration with PSTN gateways, VoIP phones, and softphones
  • Network diagnostics & packet analysis (Wireshark, sngrep)
  • VoIP monitoring & troubleshooting (logs, CDR, SIP traces)

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in VoIP engineering
